We find our books at thrift stores, libraries, estate sales, yard sales and recycle centers. Members of the Red Barn Family are always on the hunt for great finds.

If you are interested in donating used books, please send an email and we can see if they are appropriate for our use.

 

 Is the whole story inside?

  • The entire story is included with all children's picture books (unless too thick for a 1” coil)
  • Selected chapters are included for all novels and larger texts
  • Original pages are spaced in 3 sections: front, middle, and back

What type of paper do you use?

  • standard: 24# acid free blank paper
  • Ivory or Cream paper is used to match the aging of the original book pages
  • a selection of books are also made with MEAD composition paper at our market events
  • premium lined, graph, and art paper can be requested for an additional charge
