The Roar — 2022

This handcrafted journal was created from a 2022 printing of The Roar by Eoin McLaughlin, beautifully illustrated by Polly Dunbar. The charming story follows a very shy little turtle who longs to let out a mighty roar, surrounded by expressive woodland animals who bring humor, heart, and encouragement to every page.

ALL original pages from the book remain folded into the journal alongside fresh writing paper, allowing bursts of gentle storytelling and playful illustration to appear as you write. The soft, expressive artwork and warm, lighthearted tone make this journal feel hopeful and quietly brave, perfect for capturing thoughts, stories, sketches, or small daily wins.

Each journal is handcrafted in Vermont using an authentic, previously loved book. Subtle signs of age or handling may be present and are part of what makes every journal one of a kind.
